This program of the Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts is provided with generous support from the National Endowment for the Humanities, with additional support from Independence Foundation and the William Penn Foundation.

This workshop will address the safe handling and packing of flat and three dimensional objects. Discussion will include best practices for packing and moving various types of artifacts, identifying potential conservation concerns before packing, and considerations for shipping during pandemic conditions.


About the Speaker:

Adrianna Province, Registrar, CCAHA

As Registrar, Adrianna Province works with clients and their objects. She oversees the accession and preparation of objects to be treated and coordinates the final steps of packing and return to clients. She is responsible for tracking objects during their time at CCAHA and for arranging insurance and shipping.

Prior to joining CCAHA, Adrianna previously worked as a Client Services Manager at Atelier Fine Art Services and was a gallery manager at the Garden District Gallery in New Orleans. She received her BA in Art History from Tulane University.
