Lydia comes to CCAHA from the Morgan Library & Museum, where she was the Pine Tree Foundation Postgraduate Fellow in Book Conservation. She first became interested in conservation while working as an undergraduate library assistant at Bard College, where she majored in Literature and Creative Writing. She graduated in 2019 from the Conservation Center of the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, earning a M.S. in Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works and an M.A. in the History of Art and Archaeology. While at NYU, she worked as a Graduate Conservation Assistant at New York University’s Barbara Goldsmith Book & Paper Laboratory and completed internships at the Bodleian Library, University of Oxford, at The Morgan Library & Museum, and at the National Archives and Records Administration in Washington, D.C.
