Sandrine Blais

As CCAHA's 2023-24 Paper Conservation Fellow, Sandrine Blais supports the work of the Paper Lab under the supervision of Senior Paper Conservator Heather Hendry.

Sandrine graduated from Queen’s University, Canada, with an MA in Art Conservation in 2022. She specialized in Paper Conservation, as well as the conservation of photographs and new media. She has completed internships at the National Gallery of Canada and the National Library and Archives of Quebec. Since graduation, she has also done a variety of private work, including helping with mold remediation on an entire mixed material collection, and she is currently a coordinator of the Book and Paper Group of AIC’s Conservation Wiki.
