For nearly 50 years, the Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts (CCAHA) has played a vital role in preserving our nation’s cultural heritage, from conserving copies of the Declaration of Independence to cherished family photographs. CCAHA was founded in recognition that conservation and preservation should be available to everyone—not just large museums who could afford to have conservators and preservation professionals on staff.  In the year of the 250th anniversary of the country’s founding, we remain committed to that ideal, but we need your support to continue this important work. At a time when the preservation of our diverse cultural and historical record is increasingly important, your partnership ensures that this legacy endures for future generations.

Donations to CCAHA help us:

  • Train the next generation of cultural heritage professionals by offering paid fellowships and internships
  • Offer free and low-cost educational workshops and webinars to share collections care knowledge with the world
  • Collaborate with local organizations to host community preservation events
  • Visit Philadelphia-area schools to lead fun, hands-on activities related to conservation and preservation
  • Support institutions in finding and applying for funding for collections care projects

Friends of CCAHA
