Benjamin Iluzada
As Housing Technician, Benjamin Iluzada mats and frames objects for storage and exhibition. He also designs and constructs sealed microclimate packages.
Ben is a printmaker, papermaker, and book artist whose work has been collected and exhibited internationally including in Canada, the US, the UK, and Australia. Outside of his personal artistic practice, Ben focuses on printing for other artists through his own small collaborative editions studio and through larger institutions. He received his MFA in Book Arts + Printmaking from the University of the Arts, and a BFA in Printmaking from the Maryland Institute College of Art. During the interim between degrees, Ben worked in the conservation labs the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, MD, and played an excessive amount of Magic: The Gathering.
