This webinar is presented free of charge to New York institutions by the Documentary Heritage and Preservation Services for New Program (DHPSNY).

Boards can use committees to get their work done effectively and efficiently- or they can become frustrated by the lack of leadership, engagement, and clearly defined purpose. This session will explore best practices and creative strategies for using committees to increase engagement, focus, and productively.

Presenter: Susan Weinrich, Vice President of Organizational and Community Development, New York Council of Nonprofits

About the Board Governance Webinar Series:

Documentary Heritage and Preservation Services for New York (DHPSNY) is teaming up with the New York Council of Non-Profits (NYCON) to present a new board governance webinar series that will cover a new topic every Tuesday in July! This series is intended to provide a high-level overview of the types of issues boards may find relevant to focus on in the current environment. We will explore board recruitment, engagement, and assessment strategies.

Documentary Heritage and Preservation Services for New York is a program of the New York State Education Department, with services provided by the Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts.
