Preservation Specialist

CCAHA is seeking a Preservation Specialist. This is a full-time, salaried, 1-year contract position, with the potential for renewal. The Preservation Specialist contributes to the mission of CCAHA through conducting institutional assessments and assisting with institutional preservation planning; supporting educational programs; and providing technical information to libraries, archives, museums, historic sites, and other cultural institutions.

Conservator and Preventive Conservation Specialist

CCAHA is seeking a full-time Conservator and Preventive Conservation Specialist with a specialization in paper, photograph, or book conservation. This position is based in Miami, FL, and will primarily work with our clients in the Southeastern United States. This is a grant-funded position, which CCAHA expects will become a permanent position at the end of the grant period.

Fellowship in Book or Paper Conservation

CCAHA is pleased to offer a twelve-month post-graduate fellowship in the conservation of works on paper, beginning in September 2020. The fellowship has the possibility of renewal for a second year. The paper conservation fellow will treat a wide range of paper-based materials, including modern and historic works of art on paper, maps, archival materials, and parchment documents.
