Paper Conservator

CCAHA is seeking a Paper Conservator for a full time, permanent position. The candidate should have demonstrated ability in treating both fine art and archival collections as our client base provides varied and challenging treatment opportunities.

Photograph Conservator

CCAHA is seeking a Photograph Conservator for a full time, permanent position. The candidate should have demonstrated ability in treating both fine art and archival collections of 19th and 20th-century photographic materials.  Additional treatment experience with paper-based artifacts is preferred.

Preventive Conservation Fellow

CCAHA is seeking a Preventive Conservation Fellow. This is a full time, twelve month fellowship position starting September 1, 2019. This position contributes to the mission of CCAHA through implementation of surveys, educational programs, outreach, and information services to libraries, archives, museums, historical societies, and other organizations and individuals.

Fellowship in Paper Conservation

CCAHA is pleased to offer a twelve-month fellowship, with the possibility of renewal for a second year, in the conservation of works on paper beginning September 3, 2019. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of paper-based materials, including works of art on paper, manuscripts, maps, archival materials, and parchments from numerous institutions and private clients. The fellow will work with experienced conservators and technicians in a collaborative environment. The fellow may also have the opportunity to participate in on-site collection surveys, treatment projects, and educational programs.
