Getting Started

Call us old-fashioned, but every project at CCAHA starts with an email or a phone call. Our customer service sets us apart. No need to send an intake form into the void, just give us a call or shoot us an email and we'll personally respond to your inquiries.

Due to COVID-19, we now offer virtual consultations via Zoom meeting. Contact us at to make an appointment.

Accessions are available by appointment only. Please call (215) 545-0613 x303 or email for scheduling. You will receive procedural instructions for a free consultation with a conservator and a curbside drop-off will be scheduled. To keep our staff and clients safe during the delivery, we kindly ask the following:

  • After we receive your call you will be buzzed in through the front door.

  • Please wear a mask at all times and stay in the vestibule at the bottom of the stairs. Someone will meet you in the stairwell and answer any questions you may have.

  • If driving, you will be met in the parking lot by one of our staff.

Tuesdays through Thursdays | 1:00pm - 3:00pm ET

Do you have questions about starting a preservation project while working at home or social distancing from your staff? Or a conservation concern during physical distance from your collections? If you have limited access at this time to email or the internet, or prefer a conversation with a CCAHA staff person, phone call-in office hours are available with CCAHA Education Program Manager & Preservation Consultant Stephenie Schwartz Bailey, who can answer questions, refer you to educational resources, and connect you to other CCAHA staff as necessary.
