In October 2022, CCAHA welcomed Cinema Quilt to the lab to capture the stories behind five objects presented at our annual Open House. In this video, Senior Paper Conservator Heather Hendry and Associate Paper Conservator Joanna Hurd discuss the history and treatment of one of a set of 16 Japanese watercolors produced for the Chicago World's Fair in 1893, from the collections of the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology (Penn Museum).
