Debbie Hess Norris

Chair, Art Conservation Department and Professor of Photograph Conservation, Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation

Debbie Hess Norris began her career as an Assistant Conservator at CCAHA, where she worked from 1980-1984. She is now the Chair of the Art Conservation Department and Professor of Photograph Conservation at the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation. She chaired the AIC Ethics and Standards Committee that revised the Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice and she served as the president of AIC from 1993-1997. With numerous publications to her name, she has lectured and taught around the world.
