About our speaker:

Nancy Ash worked at the Philadelphia Museum of Art from 1991 to 2020, and worked previously at CCAHA, the National Gallery of Art, and the Library of Congress. She served on the AIC Committee that produced the 1994 Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice, was a founding member of the Paper Conservation Catalog in 1984, and founding co-chair of the AIC-Book and Paper Discussion Group. She is interested in and has published on artists’ materials and techniques and on digital documentation of conservation records.
