As Preservation Services Assistant, Liyah Desher is responsible for providing administrative support for the Preservation Services Department. She handles the registration, promotion, and materials for CCAHA’s workshops and education programs; edits and prepares collections assessments and plans; and maintains the CCAHA library. She also holds various administrative duties at CCAHA; answering the phone, ordering office supplies, and processing internal reimbursements.
Before joining the CCAHA team, Liyah worked at the Historical Society of Pennsylvania as the Visitor Services Coordinator. She has also worked for the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University, the Museum of the American Revolution, and the Free Library of Philadelphia. Liyah earned her BA in Communication and History from Drexel University.
