Marissa Halderman
As Manager of Communications, Marissa Halderman guides CCAHA's marketing and storytelling efforts, including communications for the Documentary Heritage and Preservation Services for New York (DHPSNY) program. She oversees the website, social media, newsletters, and print materials, helping audiences understand, connect with, and engage in CCAHA's programs and initiatives.
Before stepping into this role, Marissa served as DHPSNY's Communications Specialist, managing the program's outreach and marketing. She joined CCAHA in 2018 after working as a freelance marketing consultant supporting cultural institutions.
Outside of work, Marissa helps her family preserve the art and archives of her great-grandfather, Croatian American artist Maxo Vanka. She is also a practicing multimedia artist and holds a BA in Art History and Studio Art from Lafayette College.
