Larry Massaro
Larry Massaro has had three distinct careers. After graduating from college he served as adjunct faculty at the University of Delaware, Temple University, and Lincoln University, teaching English composition, business writing, and English as a Second Language. In 1981 he joined the U.S. Department of Defense as a civilian contracting officer and specialist in military logistics. After completing his MBA in 1997 he joined Vanguard, one of the world’s largest investment companies, where he served in a variety of 401(k)-related marketing and product management roles, with areas of focus in retirement income, retirement readiness, and advice. He has a deep knowledge of the retirement plan market, its trends and competitive landscape, and governing laws and regulations.
