When the COVID-19 pandemic forced collecting institutions across the world to close their doors last year, the cultural world turned to social media platforms like Instagram to connect with the public and make their collections visually accessible. In this webinar, speaker Marissa Halderman (Communications Specialist, DHPSNY) discusses how institutions can find and refine their promotional voice on Instagram, particularly focusing on how the platform can be used as a tool to share collection items, engage new audiences and build virtual community.
