Update: CCAHA Reopening June 15

As Philadelphia enters the Yellow Phase of the pandemic response plan, CCAHA is taking steps to reopen on Monday, June 15. This week, a limited group of CCAHA staff are in the lab to prepare for the reopening in a way that ensures the safety of both our staff and clients. Throughout the shutdown, our building has remained safe and secure, and we look forward to accepting new materials in early July. For those of you who have worked with us in the past, our procedures will be a little different, enabling us to provide the same services without requiring you to come into the building. When you contact us for pickup, delivery, or other consultation services, we will update you on the latest procedures.

In the meantime, we will continue to provide many of the services we offered during the shutdown, including:

  • Free virtual learning opportunities

  • Virtual consultations with our conservation staff

  • Remote office hours on Thursdays from 1:00-3:00 PM ET. Call Education Program Manager & Preservation Consultant Stephenie Schwartz Bailey at (484) 854-3420.

  • Technical leaflets and COVID-19 resources for cultural institutions on our Guides & Facts Sheets page

The entire CCAHA staff remains available by email to answer your questions and discuss new and ongoing projects. We look forward to returning to the lab and continuing to serve you.

Sincerely,
Laura Hortz Stanton
Executive Director
